So You Think You Can Dance Flash

A funny and embarrassing thing happened to one contestant in the So you think you can dance episode. Perhaps you are one of the many TV fans who feels that reality TV participants are getting too much coverage and are exposed. But this exposed? Nobody thought it like this.

A female auditioner on Tuesday night’s episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” was so excited after she was told by the judges that she is one of the selected candidates that she did a hip hop roll on the floor without realizing one very important thing.

Se wasn’t wearing anything underneath.

In a slow-motion video that has now been posted on multiple sites on the internet, it’s impossible to say whether contestant #22036 was in fact completely uncovered as she lolled on the floor in happy relief after learning she’d made it to the show’s next round. But the video clearly reveals too much. If she was wearing panties, it certainly looks like they weren’t covering everything that they are supposed to.

How censors the show’s network Fox managed to miss the crotch shot, when casual viewers obviously did not, may be destined to remain a mystery.

Did you check it out? What do you think about it?

Derrion Albert beating uncut video

Derrion Albert

Chicago police have asked the public for help to find three more teens believed connected to the fatal beating of Derrion Albert.

“We need the public’s help, your help,” Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis told reporters.

With four teens already arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the killing, “we are continuing to look for three additional people in connection with Derrion’s murder,” Weis said.

The U.S. Secret Service has been asked to enhance the video of the beating so they can be identified.

“The culture of ‘no-snitch’ is unacceptable,” he said. “A young man with a promising future lost his life to senseless violence, yet few have come forward.”

Weis said that they are also considering charging people who fought, but did not come into contact with Albert.

Albert was a bystander who was killed in the middle of a street fight last Thursday.

Ind vs WI live streaming and score for the ICC Champions Trophy 2009

India’s fate in the Champions Trophy depends on Pakistan’s victory over Australia in the match today.  The chance that India will book the semi-finals berth looks slim, but Pakistan failed to post a big score on the board.  Australia needs just 206 runs to enter the semi-finals.

India will take on West Indies at New Wanderers stadium in Johannesburg ay 6 pm.  Sachin Tendulkar won’t play for India today; he came down with food poisoning.

If India is out of the tournament, Dhoni & Co will try to wrap up the tour on winning note.  India’s fate may depend on Pakistan’s mercy.

Here are a few live streaming sites where you can watch the match, but they are slow…and frustrating.  Sopcast requires the download of software before you can watch it.  It may be easier to wait until it is over and watch the video of it online.  Or you can view live commentary and scores, see link below.

Google Wave released to 100,000 testers today

Google Wave Form

Google Wave is a new form of online communication that Google promises will change online communication.  Wave is being released today to 100,000 testers

The new web application combines email, chat, Wiki documents, blogs and photo sharing sites and create a form of Internet communication called a wave.  Google demonstrated Wave at the Google I/O developer conference in May.  It was created by the same couple, Jens and Lars Rasmussen who developed Google Maps.  They are hoping that the testers work out the bugs in the system before it is released worldwide.

“This should be something everybody uses and something everybody knows,” Jens Rasmussen said.  In Wave, email communications can be edited by several users simultaneously.  Users chat about certain sections of Wave documents in real time, where all users see what a person is typing as it is typed; and someone who arrives late can replay everything they’ve missed, CNN reported.

Massive 7.9 earthquake hit Samoan Islands – tsunami warning issued

Samoan Islands

A tsunami warning has been issued for American Samoa after a massive earthquake hit 120 miles southwest of the island this morning.  Residents have been warned of a possible tsunami threat after a massive 7.9 earthquake struck in the ocean about 120 miles Southwest American Samoa.  The earthquake is 10 times the size of the earthquake that struck San Francisco in 1989.

The tsunami warning was issued by the Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center for Tonga, Niue, Kermadec Islands, American Samoa, Samoa and Fiji.

“An earthquake of this size has the potential to generate a destructive tsunami that can strike coastlines in the region near the epicentre within minutes to hours. Authorities in the region should take appropriate action in response to this possibility,” the Center said.

CNN just reported that a 10 foot wave hit did hit the nearby islands, and that tsunami is expected to hit Hawaii in several hours, at a much reduced speed.

Hugh Jackman cell phone rings during play (video)

Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman

During a performance of a Broadway play, “A Steady Rain,” a cell ringing cell phone interrupted Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig.

This TMZ.com video appears to have been shot from the audience.

Jackman tells the owner of the ringing cell phone, “You want to get that?” as the audience erupts in cheers. As the ringing persists, Jackman pleads: “Come on, just turn it off.” He then paces the stage of the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, waits about a minute for the ringing to stop.  The audience cheers.
