Actor Jim Carrey’s bizarre new web site is getting a lot of attention.

The site, JimCarrey.com, allows fans to “Explore the eccentric, psychedelic corners of Jim Carrey’s mind on his official site. Discover archived appearances and movie trailers, behind the scenes clips, family photos and even notes from Jim himself!”  Cinematical.com found the meta-description in the web site’s source code.

The site itself is hard to navigate, but the movie-inspired pictures are very intriguing.  Once fans do find their way around the site, they’ll discover such highlights as a bird with Carrey’s head, which leads to his Twitter account; a man who pops up and snaps a photo, which leads to photos of Carrey’s life; and a trailer for Carrey’s new movie, “A Christmas Carol.”

The Sandra Bullock custody battle is sad. The Sandra Bullock custody battle is hard. Sandra Bullock and husband Jesse James are fighting for custody of Jesse James’s daughter.  Jesse James’s baby momma is a porn star that just got out of jail. She was in jail because she didn’t pay her taxes.

 The porn star that Sandra Bullock and Jesse James are up against is Janine Lindemulder. Janine and Jesse have a 5 year old daughter, and Sandra took the little girl under her wing while her mom was in jail.

 Allegations have been made that Sandra Bullock’s desire for custody of the child stems from her own inability to have children. Sandra Bullock denies these claims, and says that she chose her career over having children. Sandra Bullock is concerned about the well being of her husband’s 5 year old daughter, and says the living environment is not stable with Janine.

The full text of Sandra’s letter to the courts indicates that she and Jesse James would love to have a child of their own, but choose not to because it is not in the daughter’s best interest. Furthermore, before Jesse’s daughter came to live with them, she had never been to a playground and had never been around children her own age.

Jesse James also has an ex-wife that co-parents with Jesse and Sandra. Sandra describes their relationship as amicable.

Jesse James wrote a letter to the court as well, indicating that he gave Janine $182,000 to pay her taxes upon their divorce. She spent the money on drugs, and then landed in jail for non-payment of taxes.

The Sandra Bullock custody battle just goes to show you that those out in Hollywood have the same problems we all do. Custody battles don’t get easier just because you are famous – they usually get harder.

Twilight Barbie is a Barbie modeled after Bella from the Twilight Series.  The Twilight Barbie is  brunette, like Twilight’s Bella.  The Twilight Barbie is sure to be a success with all the little girls that are in love with the Twilight Series.

 The Twilight Series chronicles the story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.  The twist in the story is that Edward Cullen is a vampire.  There is now a Twilight Barbie and Twilight Ken – one modeled after Bella Swan and the other after Edward Cullen.

 I don’t know which one will be more successful – Twilight Barbie or Twilight Ken.  Tweens all swoon after the sexy bad-boy image of Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.  Bella Swan is played by actress Kristen Stewart.

 The Twilight Barbie comes out shortly before the November 20 release of New Moon.  The timing is perfect, as many girls will likely have the Twilight Barbie on their Christmas wish list. 

 The Twilight Barbie doll is affordable, too.  Each Twilight Barbie and Twilight Ken cost a measly $25 each. Where can you purchase the Twilight Barbie? The documentary “The People v. Leo Frank,” which re-tells a true century-old story of a murder trial, racial stereotype, and a lynching, premieres Monday at 10 p.m. ET on PBS.

The People v. Leo Frank

In 1913 Atlanta, a child worker, Mary Phagan, was found dead in the basement of the National Pencil Company.  Police focused on Phagan’s boss, Leo Frank, a Jewish engineer who recently arrived from New York.  Frank’s murder trial became a free-for-all of racial stereotypes and contradictions, according to the film’s web site.

Frank was found guilty and sentenced to death, mostly based on what the state’s star witness, Jim Conley, a black factory sweeper, said.  Frank’s lawyers appealed the conviction 13 times, and even went to the U.S. Supreme Court. 

Meanwhile, The New York Times led a crusade to exonerate Frank, according to the film’s web site.  Georgia Governor John Slaton concluded that Frank did not receive a fair trial and changed his sentence to life in prison.

The decision sparked a backlash.  A group of 25 men in seven cars drove more than 100 miles to the state penitentiary, walked in, and abducted Frank.  They drove him to an oak grove near Phagan’s childhood home, where they reportedly put a noose around his neck and hung him.

The film includes recollections, commentary, and archival images, with Will Janowitz as Leo Frank and Seth Gilliam as Jim Conley, with a script drawn directly from the historical record.

Actor Mel Gibson and his Russian girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, reportedly welcomed a baby girl over the weekend.

Grigorieva gave birth on Friday, which was a few weeks early, according to celebrity web site RadarOnline.com. There were no further details available, including what the couple named the baby girl.

Gibson, 53, announced in May that Grigorieva, 39, was pregnant.

Gibson has seven children with his first wife, Robyn.  Robyn filed for divorce last spring following 28 years of marriage.

Grigorieva has a teenage son with actor Timothy Dalton.

This is It

For the first week in the box office, Michael Jackson’s This Is It movie won the number one spot at the box office this weekend, and the horror phenomenon Paranormal Activity came in second place.

This is It collected a total of $101 million so far and it easily breaks the record for a documentary about a concert, but the concert promoter predicted it would make $250 million.

Initially, This is It was scheduled to run for two weeks, but Sony who purchased the movie for $60 million announced this weekend that it will remain in theaters at least until Thanksgiving.

The reviews so far for This is It have been good, and many reviewers have said that the movie was put together in a meaningful way.  There are sad and happy parts to it and it seems that it would make Michael Jackson proud.  More than 4700 reviews from fans posted their thoughts on Flixster.com and 87% liked it, and 80% of the movie critics on that same site liked it.

Dennis Hopper cancer headlines deal with Dennis Hopper’s prostate cancer. After Dennis Hopper discovered he had prostate cancer, he cancelled all trips and entered a “special program” at the USC Medical Center, according to LA Late.

 Dennis Hopper just completed filming season two of “Crash.”  In addition, Dennis Hopper was set to appear in Australia at an art exhibit entitled “Dennis Hopper and the New Hollywood.”  The exhibit was to display art and photographs by Dennis Hopper.

 Dennis Hopper cancer headlines have made many people sad.  When actors such as Dennis Hopper have issues such as cancer, it touches the hearts of their fans.  Of course many people will be bummed that Dennis Hopper will miss some events, but Dennis Hopper’s cancer battle is far more important.

 According to the American Cancer Society, in 2009 approximately 192,280 new cases of prostate cancer (the cancer Dennis Hopper has) will be diagnosed, and 27,360 men will die as a result. However, more than 2 million men diagnosed with prostate cancer are still alive.

 Although prostate cancer is the 2^nd leading cause of cancer deaths in men, Dennis Hopper has a good chance of beating his cancer.  Dennis Hopper’s cancer is serious, but with the right treatment he should experience a recovery. The 5 year survival rate is nearly 100% and the 10 year survival rate is 91%.  The 15 year prostate cancer survival rate is 76%.  Modern advances are expected to increase these rates.

Country singer Taylor Swift, 17, and “Twilight”/”New Moon” actor Taylor Lautner, 19, have been spotted hanging out together a lot lately, sparking rumors that the two are dating.

Their most recent sighting together was at a Los Angeles Kings hockey game on Sunday. The teens, who are co-starring in the upcoming movie “Valentine’s Day” together, attended the game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, according to People magazine. The singer and her driver also reportedly picked up Lautner at the Los Angeles airport before heading to the game.

Lautner was also spotted at one of Swift’s concerts in Chicago a couple of weeks ago, where the two shared a hug.

On a side note, the two share another connection. Lautner was onstage as a presenter at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Swift was famously interrupted by Kanye West during her Best Female Video acceptance speech.
