Shoppers who have been busy searching the Internet for early reports on Black Friday deals will be happy to learn that Walmart has confirmed some of their sales for Friday, November 27, 2009, as well as weekly savings starting this Saturday on popular toys and video games.

Walmart’s Black Friday specials include 50-inch Sanyo plasma HDTVs for $598, Magnavox Blu-Ray disc players for $78, TomTom GPS systems for $59, $7 reversible fleece jackets, and $3 children’s sleepwear, according to Walmart representative Melissa O’Brien.

Some of the toys at Walmart stores that will be discounted (up to 60 percent) starting this Saturday through November 27, 2009, are EZ Bake Oven, Disney Princess Scooter, and Nerf N-Strike Vulcan, The Associated Press reported. Also starting this Saturday, customers purchasing certain gaming packages such as “Band Hero” and “DJ Hero” will receive a $40 Walmart gift card while supplies last.

Singer Rihanna was recently spotted with “90210″ actor Tristan Wilds, sparking rumors that the two are dating.

Wilds, who plays Dixon Wilson on the CW teen drama, was seen at a party at Rihanna’s house over the weekend in Los Angeles, according to the New York Daily News.

“No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate. But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see,” a source told the New York Daily News.

“He’s a real gentleman,” the source added. “She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up.”

Rihanna, 21, and Wilds, 20, were apparently introduced by a music producer who has worked with both of them, as Wilds is currently working on his own album, according to reports.

Rihanna has recently been in the news discussing her alleged beating by ex-boyfriend, singer Chris Brown.

Miley Cyrus dead? Is Miley Cyrus really dead, or is this just another Internet rumor?  If Miley Cyrus is dead, her death would have to be tragic as she is young.  Miley Cyrus is Billy Ray Cyrus’s daughter and is best known as “Hannah Montanna”

Miley Cyrus is probably not really dead.  After all, the Internet is full of rumors, and celebrity deaths are among the favorites of gossip mills and entertainment news.  This won’t be the first time that she is the center of a rumor, as back in June it was announced that Miley was in a car accident and died.

The thing is, she didn’t die and I am so glad.  There’s nothing more tragic than the loss of life – particularly that of a very young individual.  If you are searching frantically looking for details on Miley Cyrus’s death, step back take a deep breath and relax.  If she really died, it would be on major media sites such as ABC, CBS, CNN, and high-profile celebrity sites such as TMZ, E!, and People.

Even though Miley is alive and well, there is one part of her that is dead: her Twitter account.  Back in October, Miley Cyrus abruptly deleted her Twitter account citing  a vague reason referencing her boyfriend.  Since then, her fans have wanted her to come back.

Taylor Swift was the big winner at the 43^rd annual Country Music Awards (CMA) in Nashville on Wednesday night.

Swift, 19, won four awards, including album of the year (“Fearless”), female vocalist of the year, music video of the year (“Love Story”), and entertainer of the year.  She is reportedly the youngest artist to ever win the prestigious entertainer of the year award. 

The joke of the evening also included several references to Kanye West’s interruptance of Swift’s speech at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, which Swift also poked fun of when she hosted “Saturday Night Live” last weekend.

The show, which aired on ABC, was hosted by artists Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.  Performers included Swift, Underwood, Paisley, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Daughtry and Vince Gill.

Steven Tyler quit the Aerosmith band two days ago, but no one seems to know why Steven Tyler quit Aerosmith, including other band members.

Steven quit as far as I can tell,” Guitarist Joe Perry said. “I don’t know anymore than you do about it. I got off the plane two nights ago. I saw online that Steven said that he was going to leave the band. I don’t know for how long, indefinitely or whatever. Other than that, I don’t know.”

Perry said that part of the problem is that Tyler doesn’t return phone calls. “He’s notorious for that,” Perry said. “That’s one thing I’ve learned to live with. I try to overlook it. I like to pick my battles. Frankly, the last few months I’ve been wanting not to rock the boat. I don’t want him canceling any more gigs. We really wanted to do these last four. We just kind of didn’t want to call him out or anything and get him anymore pissed off, for whatever reason. So we just let things lie. So we did the gigs and, like I said, I got off the plane and saw this online. That’s how I know about it.”

Stephen Tyler fell off the stage during their world tour a few months ago and broke his shoulder. Most of the tour was cancelled, much to the dismay of other Aerosmith band members.

Was Lil’ Wayne shot dead? Lil’ Wayne shot dead rumors, videos, pics, and killed rumors have fueled a fire. Lil’ Wayne shot dead rumors are only one of the hundreds of rumors on the Internet that inform us our favorite celebrities are dead.

In some people’s eyes, Lil’ Wayne is dead because he recently plead guilty to weapons charges.  He will spend at least a year in jail, and skeptics think that the jail sentence is the silver bullet that will end the rapper’s career.

I beg to differ.  The popularity of the Lil’ Wayne “No Ceilings” mixtape is enough to keep his fans excited until he is released from jail.  Chances are, he will have a lot of time to sit and think and come up with his next rhymes.

Why is it that people are so inclined to believe everything they see on the internet? Don’t you think that if Lil’ Wayne was shot dead, the news would be on not only blogs and secondary news outlets but major media as well?

Lil’ Wayne videos and pics are always in high demand, as the rapper has a very loyal fan base.  Chances are, his popularity will remain strong as long as the hype surrounding his recent guilty plea is present.

For now, we will have to settle for the “No Ceilings” mixtape and the rappers earlier works to get us through until the mixmaster is ready to grace our ears again.

Teen country star Taylor Swift poked fun of her love life and a recent incident with Kanye West when she hosted “Saturday Night Live” (”SNL”) this weekend.

Swift, 19, started out the evening with a “Monologue Song,” which not only showcased her voice, but her sense of humor as well.  She sang about her famous breakup with Joe Jonas, of the Jonas Brothers, and the recent rumors (based on sightings together, including a recent hockey game) that she is dating “Twilight” and “New Moon” star Taylor Lautner.

In the “Monologue Song,” she also joked about how West wouldn’t be able to interrupt her on stage this time, as she had security.  This parody stemmed from the MTV Video Music Awards in September, when West went on stage during Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, grabbed the microphone, and said that Beyonce had the best video of the year, leaving Swift speechless onstage.  On a side note, and a nice tie in, Lautner was on stage as a presenter at the time.

Another shout out to the Lautner-Swift dating rumors on “SNL” included a “Twilight” parody sketch, “Firelight.”  In the clips, Swift played the role of Bella Swan, who was infatuated with Frankenstein, instead of a vampire.

Other sketches of the evening included Swift as reality star Kate Gosselin as a substitute host on “The View,” and Swift as a teenager (with braces and headgear) complaining that parents’ distracted driving skills are worse than teenagers texting while driving.

Aside from hosting, Swift also rocked the stage as the musical guest of the night, which was expected.

The Rihanna interview with Diane Sawyer is anticipated. The Rihanna Diane Sawyer interview will discuss Rihanna’s trials and tribulations. A 5 minute clip of the Rihanna interview with Diane Sawyer was aired on Good Morning America, and the entire Rihanna/Diane Sawyer interview will air tomorrow night on 20/20.

In the 5 minute clip, we see Rihanna get tear-y eyed speaking about her relationship with Chris Brown.  In the weeks after the time when he assaulted her, Rihanna forgave Chris Brown and took her back.  According to the interview aired on Good Morning America, Rihanna tells Diane Sawyer that she eventually let Chris go when she realized that she was not setting a good example for her fans by taking him back.  She feared that her actions and selfish desire for love could end up getting young women killed.

It’s great to see a prominent figure such as Rihanna speak out about a topic like domestic violence.  The Rihanna interview with Diane Sawyer will be something that no young woman facing an abusive relationship should miss.
