The “Teen Choice Awards 2010″ may not air on Fox until Monday (tonight), but the surfboard awards were given out last night in Hollywood.  Find out who won below.

The “Teen Choice Awards 2010″ were hosted by singer Katy Perry and co-hosted by the guys from “Glee” (Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith, and Mark Salling).  They were held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Ca.

News: UFC 117 MMA results top the octagon buzz.  The UFC 117 Silva vs Sonnen fight was a big deal for MMA fans, and many are left wondering if Silva and Sonnen are slated to become the newest rivalry in the MMA.  Of course, Dana White’s franchise thrives on cut throat competition. After all, if the two are friendly towards each other – who is going to want to watch them fight?

The Spider kept his title for one more contender, and will have to face off someone else at a later time.  It’s crucial that his head doesn’t get too big, because that is usually when the good falter.

Could it be that The Spider is nearing the end of his career? After all, Sonnen was dominating over him for the first four and a half rounds.  Only after Silva was able to put Sonnen in a triangle hold was the match called. Had that not transpired, I would almost say that Sonnen was going to be the big winner.

MMA news includes Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen at their UFC 117 match up.  After all the trash talking prior to the UFC 117 match up headliner event, Silva and Sonnen are poised to become rivals so fierce that people will choose sides and fight about who is the better fighter.  Although the Spider kept his title, Sonnen gave him a run for his money.

For four and a half rounds, Sonnen held Silva back – and it looked as if he was slated to become the winner.  After he was placed in a triangle hold by his opponent and Josh Rosenthal called a submission, Sonnen’s dreams of beating Silva were finished – even if only for UFC 117.

Hopefully Dana White will place the two in the Octagon again. Especially after last night’s main card event, the two are going to be hot rivals for the up and coming tournaments.

Anderson ‘the Spider’ survives.  Last night’s UFC 117 main event was Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen and it was a fight that will go down in MMA history.  Although it appeared during the first four rounds that Sonnen would make good on his promise to host Silva’s retirement party, in the fifth round at 3:10 Silva won via submission.

There are still questions whether or not the  submission was really so.  Silva had Sonnen in a triangle hold, and the ref thought he saw Sonnen tap out.  The tap outs were light, so there’s uncertainty of what the fighter meant to do.

Now there is little uncertainty that Sonnen did a great job against Silva. However, The Spider survives and will once again be slated for yet another MMA title defense, next time against Vitor Belfort.

The “Teen Choice Awards 2010″ will air on Fox on Monday night, but fans can get a sneak peek at the stars with a live webcast of the red carpet at the event, which is actually held on Sunday night (and taped to air on Monday).

UFC 117 Silva vs Sonnen results and live updates are desired for UFC 117 Silva vs Sonnen fans that aren’t able to watch the live event on PPV.  MMA fights are always great, but the event today is very important as a lot of smack has been talked in terms of the two contenders.  Sonnen claimed that he was going to host Silva’s retirement party, but in the end it was Silva who was the victor.

Sonnen tapped during the 5th round, after getting cut by Silva.  He did put up a fight and made Silva work to retain his title.  The whole event was heart-stopping adrenaline pumping suspense filled match ups.

That’s what you get for smack talking.  Sonnen was made to look a fool, but it could have just as easily happened to Silva.  Silva maintained his title at 3:10 in the 5th round. What a match.

Those without PPV are looking online trying to find the play-by-play action to find out who wins.  It’s expensive to watch the match for sure, but personally I think it’s worth every penny – especially when there’s nothing else on TV.

Friendly – Real Madrid vs LA Galaxy is taking place tonight live on ESPN.  Real Madrid vs Los Angeles Galaxy is only the latestfriendly soccer match, and is taking place tonight – started at 10:30 PM EDT.  Much like some of the best NFL games, the Real Madrid vs LA Galaxy match is taking place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

Although soccer isn’t as widely watched in the US as other sports, it’s gaining ground.  There have been games at the Pontiac Silverdome and now the Pasadena Rose Bowl – and maybe the MLS soccer franchise will start to grow in the United States.

Soccer is one of the most widely watched sports in the world. Perhaps the club Real Madrid coming to LA will be even more high profile because Cristiano Ronaldo (a player for the Real Madrid club) has had alleged romantic ties to celebrity socialite Kim Kardashian.  It seems like where ever a Kardashian sister dates a sports star, there’s phenomenal success.

MMA – Roy Nelson vs Junior Dos Santos fight at UFC 117 live is among us, and MMA fans are excited.  The Roy Nelson vs Junior Dos UFC 117 fight is a co-main card event, and is only available live on Pay Per View (PPV).  This is a big night, and is a great precursor to UFC 118, which takes place three weeks from today.

Those who are going to bet on tonight’s events may be interested to know the odds of the match up.  Roy Nelson is said to be the underdog in this match up, as Dos Santos has some of the most brutal punches in the league. However, we have seen more shocking upsets everywhere – the UFC included.

Of course, the focus tonight is on the headliner match up which is Sonnen vs Silva.  Sonnen will have his foot in his mouth if he loses the match today, as there’s been a lot of trash talking going on.
