Although professional agencies have cleared the The Fugees singer, Wyclef Jean had to put on a Hollywood reminiscent act to convince the jury made out of press. In the end, tears did the job. They always do.
The only thing the charity experts blamed him for was being little lax in filing his tax reports regarding the Haiti relief fund he has set up.
Dealing with money is never easy. You multiply the money you deal with into millions and that many times your tax troubles increase.
Wyclef Jean is from Haiti and he is trying to help his country people during this tremendously taxing times. Apparently, last thing he had on his mind was getting taxed by the IRS for the relief organization that he is running and collecting money on the behalf.
There is a charity watchdog group called Charity Navigator. These guys analyzed the relief organization run by Mr Jean and said his group was late by almost three years in filing their taxes! What the hell was Wyclef Jean thinking?! These musicians can be dunces. I think if Mr. Jean broke the law, he should definitely pay a hefty fine or go to the slammer.
These musician rock stars should not think they can collect money from people this easily and then simply forget. What do you guys think? Do you think something hanky panky is going on? Do you think Wyclef Jean had the crocodile tears on when he asked for forgiveness or pretended to be innocent?
