Golden Globe Red Carpet Arrivals are Amazing

Golden Globe red carpet arrivals are amazing.  The red carpet at any ceremony like the Golden Globe awards is the fashion “icing on the cake” for the night’s festivities.  Seeing who is wearing what and who is dressed to shock and to awe is the most exciting part of the Golden Globes for people like me that love fashion.

Olivia Wilde, who plays a doctor in the popular drama “House” showed up in an amazing black sparkling dress with a plunging neckline.  Her makeup was flawlessly applied and her hair slicked back into a sleek and sexy ponytail.

George Clooney and his model girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis showed up.  Clooney was wearing a tux and Elisabetta Canalis was wearing an interesting dress that is a mauve color.  It is very flowing, and features detailing under the bust that is very flattering.  After seeing her racy lingerie ads, I thought maybe she would show up in something a little sexier and more daring. However, she is very beautiful.

Diane Kruger showed up wearing a bright pink dress with strange shoulder and bust detailing.  It was truly one of the first eyebrow raising pictures I have seen, although there are many people that thinks she looks gorgeous in the dress.  The bright pink is a bit much, but to each her own.

Jane Lynch showed up wearing an olive green shimmering dress.  Although the cut was fabulous, the shiny details made her appear a wee bit bigger than she really is.  If the dress had been black or even a color that didn’t feature a lot of shine, she would hands-down be one of the best dressed at the ceremony.

Tony Collette is wearing one of the prettiest dresses I have seen thus far, and looks very chic and sophisticated with her loose hair up do.  The beading is exquisite and hopefully she will win a Golden Globe for her role in Showtime’s “United States of Tara.”

The Golden Globe red carpet arrivals will keep rolling in.  Stay tuned throughout the night for more Golden Globe updates.
