Last-minute shoppers can still find some of the major retail stores open late on Christmas Eve.

Walmart is open until 8 p.m. in most areas; however, some locations will close at 6 p.m. Click here to find your local Walmart store hours.
A majority of Target stores will remain open until 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Click here to find your local Target’s store hours.
Sears, Kohl’s, Marshall’s, Kmart, and Macy’s are scheduled to close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. However, some locations are expected to stay open later.
Some of the major retail stores located on the U.S. East Coast are staying open later to accommodate shoppers who had a hard time getting out due to a recent snow storm.
Another idea for last-minute shoppers is to check 24-hour shops such as drug stores (Walgreen’s, CVS, Rite Aid, etc.), gas stations, and convenience stores like 7-Eleven. Some of these locations are open until 3 a.m., with some remaining open on Christmas Day.
