Heisman Trophy Presentation 2009: Heisman Trophy Awarded Tonight at 8/7c on ESPN

The Heisman Trophy presentation 2009 airs tonight on ESPN. The Heisman Trophy will be awarded, and there are 5 exceptional athletes up for the trophy this year. Who will win the Heisman Trophy 2009? We will have to wait to find out.

Tim Tebow is a Florida quarter back that is up for the Heisman Trophy. He won the award back in 2007 and many think he may win the award tonight because of his undefeated record which was broken by Alabama at last week’s SEC championship game.

Mark Ingram is a running back from Alabama up for the Heisman Trophy this year.  He has been hailed for his great plays during last week’s matchup between Alabama and Florida.  Ingram is another favorite for many.

Texas quarterback Colt McCoy, Stanford’s Toby Gerhart, and Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh are all up for the Heisman Trophy as well.

Texas quarterback Colt McCoy was a favorite up until last week.  Toby Gerhart is credited with bringing Stanford for a rare winning season.  Ndamukong Suh is known as one of the best defensive players in years.

Each of the players have their strengths and weaknesses.  Each of them has a group of people that think they should be the winners.  The Heisman Trophy is an honor, and to even be up in the running for one is an amazing feat.

The Heisman Trophy presentation airs tonight on ESPN at 7:00 pm CST or 8:00 EST.  The presentation takes place at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square.
