Miss Plastic Hungary 2009, Rika Urban
Last night Hungary held its first annual beauty pageant for surgically enhanced contestants. Many of the young contestants had breast implants, nose jobs, and face lifts.
A Hungarian plastic surgeon said that even the economy is unstable; the number of plastic surgeries has risen every year in Hungary. To qualify, each contestant had to prove that they’ve had plastic surgery (Botox and collagen injections didn’t count). Almost every contestant had breast implants, and nose jobs were the second most popular surgery among contestants.
Each contestant had to be at least 18, and there was a special category for women over 30. The winner was 22 year old Reka Urban and she won an apartment in Budapest. The first runner up was Edina Kulcsar who won a new car, and third place went to Alexandra Horvath and she won diamond jewelry that was worth $10,800. The plastic surgeons for each winner also won awards.
