Pregnant Woman is Pregnant Again
An Arkansas couple had some surprising news yesterday during an ultrasound, Julie Grovenburg who is already pregnant, is pregnant again. And the doctors say they are not twins. The babies were conceived 2 and 1/2 weeks apart from each other. Doctors noticed a second tiny sack during the ultrasound and heard two heartbeats. The babies aren’t twins because their developmental stages are at different rates, and both babies also have separate due dates. The older child will be born at the end of 2009, and the younger child will be born in early 2010. This is very rare, but it has happened before, with only ten reported cases in history.
Crazy! I am no nurse, but this almost seems impossible, first to even be happening, but then also for the survival of the babies and the health of the mother.
