Brother Speed Motorcycle Club Blamed For Chaos On I-5

On Sept 18, two dozen Brother Speed Motorcyle Club members were involved in an accident on I5 according to the Oregon Police. The interstate was closed for hours because of this.

According to eye witnesses, the bikers were behind the cars and because of the traffic the cars and bikes tried to slow down. But instead the bikers collided with the cars and from then on the Domino effect took hold. Because of the collision many bikes were scattered on the pavement.

Two bikers were in critical condition because of this incident and had to be flown to hospitals in Portland by helicopter.

Finally the interstate could be reopened at 6 PM in the evening following the chaos.

Do you know anything about this? Were you on the interstate at that time or knew somebody who was?

i was an eye witness, and this club was not the cause of the accident if the suv hadnt slammed on their brakes for no reason none of this would have happened. sure traffic was slowing down but not to warrant slamming on your brakes like they did it was totally unneccessary. they obviously do not know how to drive defensively safely and should be ticketed those suv drivers. my thoughts and prayers go out to the bikers.

My prayers go out to all the Club members and their families. Some drivers literally harass bikers with their brakes. I hope the SUV driver is ticketed.

Most so called drivers that ride or jam on the brakes should be kicked off the road. That is why I cary 1/4 inch ball bearings in my jacket pockets. The Wolfman

of course the suv wont be ticketed! cagers can do no wrong, especially if it takes out a biker, and better still (for the establishment) if it takes an outlaw out… Noticed how it was stressed about being outlaws, not much about the good (toy runs, etc.)
also not reported how the suv cut in front then slowed down? I dont fly any colors, but i respect all. I rode for my own pleasure and usually by myself, dont go on runs etc. but i will be at the memorial this saturday, even tho i have to take tri met

My most sincere condolences to the Brother Speed Motorcycle Club.
It was a tragedy to have Brothers injured and have one of your own lose their life.
The World may not understand the ways of an MC, but many of us do.
My Prayers are with you all and I hope there is a big turnout at the
    Memorial Gathering the 24th.
I am gladly going to make a donation.
My Respect and Prayers to those grieving Family members.

    Deacon.
