In May Blizzard brought the domain name Diablo3.com, and this immediately sparked speculation of a potential upcoming Diablo III release.
With Blizzard’s 2008 global Invitational to be held sometime this week, and considering the Blizzard teasers, splash screens on their website etc., there is huge amount of speculation buzzing around.
Blizzard generally teases splash screens when they have a new game announcement, so …you get the gist right.
There are lot of reports in the media as well, and numerous tips coming direct to us through IncGamers from reliable inside industry sources in the past 24 hours. Based on them, there is strong reason to believe that Diablo 3 will be announced on Saturday at WWI Paris 2008.
If you have heard anything, share a tip here for the benefit of other gamers.

This is becoming a tough decision… Continue playing WoW in preparation for Lich King, play Diablo 03 which is more badass than any of its type, or play starcraft to get ready for Starcraft 2 in November…

Personally I have been going through Diablo 02 over again. Since I never played the expansion I am finding it quite fun replaying my favorite, the Amazon. Altough after the D3 trailer I really want to try the Barbarian.

And finally, they kept their promise and really made it, even though after a LONG LONG time to do so

Well as almost everyone know they have released a 20 min trailer which explain two characters. According to this release my opinion is that they should announce the game pretty soon, i mean they cant show a trailer and release it a year from now

For you who’s wondering about when blizzard is gonna tell when diablo III will release… I might have a clue. On this webpage i usualy use when i’m gonna order games (it’s a really serious page), It says that it’s gonna release in 2009. But i don’t know for sure, it might not be correct, but my guess is that it is
have no vlue when the game will be out, but im guessing from the ammount of stuff that Blizzard has shown , and the size of the map on the website id say it should be a good 8 to 9 months

Anyway WoW sucks Blizzard made alot good games but WoW is retarded,i dont think the new expansion will attract alot people because around the time that the expansion will be released an game called Guild Wars 2 will be launched. I readed some interviews and it sounds cool and if you look at the graphics of Guild wars 1, then the graphics of GW 2 must really be beautifel, i would say that GW 2 is an sort of new and alot better WoW.

Too much buzz long before the anticipated release. I think this might actually hurt the actual release. Now whenever they announce the game is coming out, gamers will think its another one of those publicity stunt.

I belive that the game could be out as erly as march 09 simply due to the fact that they’ve been working a long time despite the recent trailers and video. Tho having the trailers and videos out im to believe early or middle 09. It all depends on when SC2 comes out, blizz will try and space these 2 out to make more profit. Thats y i am to believe that D3 will be coming out aroun 3-5 months after SC2 hits stores, so that would leave it releasing twords the March-July area. hoped this helped.
i saw release date today and im not sure if its for sure but it said Lich king 11/03/08 Starcraft 2 12/03/08 but Diablo 3 not till 12/31/09 witch has been said before by someone and im not sure its for sure but im pretty sure it is
no way its 12/31/09 the game is practically finished, plus its using battle.net so theres not as of an alpha/beta test, the game is almost done alpha testing……. to put it this way WotLK is about done alpha testing, so theres no way this take 15 more months to finish

To those people saying that there is no way that diablo 3 will be released in that long, i say it is a good shot. Myself being a huge diablo fan am NOT looking forward to the wait. But if you take a look on blizzards diablo 3 FAQ, you can see that they say they are looking into 5 or 6 characters for diablo 3. They have only completed 2. They also mentioned they will take as long as they can to make the characters as detailed as they can. This is just MY opinion. Like it or hate it, it doesn’t matter to me. Im guessing those estimations of diablo coming out in the march-july area of 2009 is a good chance. I guess we will have to stay tuned to the diablo 3 website. I have always been a huge diablo fan but I have quit diablo 2 recently… I don’t think I will start playing D2 again, but when D3 hits storeshelves, not even the sticker price will stop me from getting that game! Although it may take some time for this game to be finished developing, it is worth it if you take time to think about it. Plus it’ll probably take awhile as other people have said before. Even though they say that they have created 2 characters already Blizzard is going to go back through those 2 characters again to edit their skills and so forth. I’ll probably be a sorceress or witch doctor since I’m mostly interested in summoning and spells.

Expected with anticipation. I can’t wait for it, the thing is does anyone know if diablo III will be able to be played on Windows Vista? It sucks Diabo II does not work on Vista and I would be more apt, to be it if I knew for sure it would play on Vista. Fuking Vista sucks don’t buy it, Starcraft barely plays on it, I mean what the fuck Starcraft? And If starcraft two doesnt work I will be heart broken So if anyone knows the facts or have checked blizzard.net in a couple days post and info on Vista. Or I will be forced to buy a mac. As far as the release date goes i dont care when its released as long as its in ‘09. The longer they take the better…Theres nothing more i hate than a game full of bugs. And as for the vista issue…Get rid of it and buy a copy of windows 7 when it comes out.

Guys i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i think Diablo 3 release may be a fair while off(like early next year) :”( mainly for 2 reasons.
1)blizzard and its bankers are sh1t1ng themselves that financial crises will f@ck up profits and thus are poising the games release for maximum profit while feeding us poor little gamers trailers and game play tidbits to make us happy xD
2)blizzard also has Starcraft 2 release coming up ( a staggerd 3 parter i might add)so the main thing to keep in mind is that they are running a business and they have the product (and i dont know about the rest of you but i am willing to do some pretty indecent things to get my grubby mitts on either one) and we want the product! they have already established its credibility and thus can release anytime they damn well feel like it:”( so they are most likely going to drop D3 on the market either side of starcraft 2’s release! which could be end of this year early next (as i mentioned earlier)
