Melissa Huckaby (Melissa Huckabee) is the first suspect to have been arrested by the cops in the infamous murder case of Sandra Cantu. As most of you would remember, the 8 year old Sandra Cantu was found dead in a suitcase floating in a river some time back.
Now the cops suspects that the neighborhood Sunday school teacher Melissa Huckaby (Huckabee) had something to do with it. In fact Police suspects Melissa abducted the child and then later packed her in a suitcase, and threw it in the nearby pond.
Melissa Huckaby and Sandra Cantu stay in the same apartment compound so Melissa could definitely be a legitimate suspect.
Have you been following this case? What do you make out of it. Sandra was an awesome child and its unfortunate that somebody preyed on her like this. The community needs to ses a conviction happen here to ensure such wolves who prey on innocent young children are taken out from the community.
Somebody needs to do the same to her what she did to that little girl

I think “Melissa Huckaby ” should be put to death if she is found guilty for the Murder of Sandra Cantu.
This is Horrible that a Sunday school teacher could commit such a crime. “What about thou shall not kill”
Obviously I believe that this church forgot to run a criminal back ground check and a therapy test on this person.
All Churches should run these tests before allowing any one person Male or Female to represent a church.
Well she shall not only have to pay for her crimes but if found guilty she should have to appear before national television giving her reason why.
I am so sorry this had to happen too her parents and I hope that justice is served. My heart goes out to all her family and friends. My Family and I will be praying for all of you.

Corrections to you. She was found in an agricultural drainage pond not a river and also she lived in the same mobile home park as the suspect, not apartment building.
Police just arrested her and named her a suspect. i haven’t heard any evidence from the police yet. Yes, anything is possible in this world. However, I found Huckabee’s case very suspicious.
If she is guilty, then she certainly deserves punishment… but I haven’t found anything about evidence other than her living nearby and the body being found in her suitcase. Though it was her suitcase, she did claim that it had been stolen, which could easily be true. I don’t think there’s enough evidence to justify condemning her as guilty.
I believe they’ll find this melissa person was s3xually assaulted as a child, maybe at around the same age as Sandra. I think she was filled with unexpressed rage but was a suppressed personality (everyone describes her as being self effacing) Then for some reason she was triggered to act out her violation on another child. Of course not everyone does this; passes on what happened to them, but most of us do in one way or another (such as the guy-who’s-nice-at-the-office-but-takes-it-out-on-his-family-when-he- gets-home sort of thing) Choosing a church for such a crime has to have been deliberate so I expect she was abused by her grandfather (or someone else at a church).
I feel that Melissa may have been molested , she possibly may have a personality disorder and I feel that she was completely cognicent at the time of the crime. It appears to me she wanted to get caught due to her behavior regarding the suitcase and how she made it clear that it was hers to the media and to the police. It also seems that perhaps it was an accident , she merely meant to do whatever she was going to do and some how return the child in a way that it would seem innocent, however she died.I don’t feel the church or her family had anything to do with this, they just under estimated her.
yes, i believe what happened to this little girl is really horrifying. I hope that god see’s this little girl’s family through this tragedy. They deserve fair justice for what happened. When I heard about this murder, i couldnt help but wondering if this were me, wouldnt i want justice.. yes! this woman deserves life in prison or the death penality.
How can anyone be so judgemental of Melissa with so little evidence against her? Of course I want justice to be served and my heart grieves for Sandra’s family, but please let’s wait until we hear some evidence before we cast our stones.
She may have been a victim as a child herself, she may have had a lot of problems but that does NOT excuse all that she has done to an innocent child. I believe that she deserves nothing more than death herself!!! Being a mother herself, how could she do this to any child?? One could only wonder what she has done to her own child. It sickens me to think that any person in their right mind would ask how the world could be so judgemental. The proof is there or she wouldn’t be in jail right now. God will be the one who can judge her in the end,but for now, it is what it is, a horrible, horrible crime that no parents, family or community ever want to have to go through.

She’s covering for someone! I can’t help but think her father, her uncle, maybe other family members are somehow involved in this. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire – who knows how many adults could be involved in this horror. There is a great deal of money to be made with internet child p0rn as we are sadly learning. If these behaviors were practiced when Melissa was a child, and the family and others are involved, she may well wind up being the one person to take the whole rap. They have her daughter after all don’t they? Why do we know so little about her parents by this time?
I was abused as a child, I would truly never want to make anyone feel the way I felt. It is a horrible thing that you carry through your life, I don’t know how someone can hurt a child. May you rest in peace Sandra and may God help us all.
What is the motive?! How can there be a case with no motive?!
I don’t think anyone should speculate…or judge…your allowed…it’s your choice…but just because you can…doesn’t always mean you should…
I feel deeply for the Cantu family, and I have prayed for them as well as
the Huckabee Family ( Including Melissa ). I wish everyone would think…
and understand what they are saying, before they say it…you think she should
be put to death, yet you immediatly recite thou shall not kill ? Let’s wait to
hear more evidence before we cast our stones ? Christ said…LET YE WITH NO SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE…in otherwords…everyone drop them…right now. The God of Christ was unconditional love, understanding, forgiveness, kindness, grace, mercy and patience, and He warned those who followed the other side…and if any you want to take it back and go by The BOOK, judgement belongs to the Lord…Now, let me ask you…if you are only praying for what you percieve to be the good…then who is praying for help for the percieved bad ? If you recall, The Lord forgave the man next to Him of murder…and with his last breath…He forgave all that murdered Him. That doesn’t mean murder is right…or that it shouldn’t be punished…but He did set many examples for all of us to follow…it does no good to know the words if you can’t back them up with your actions…think of all of those who wrongly accused the Lord, yet they thought they were right…now please…think before you accuse.
I am in agreement with the above post … let her sit in judgement with herself before GOD… i struggle with this very belief EXCEPT WHEN IT HAS TO DO WITH CHILDREN… my comment is this…. hang her high…. her judgment is between her and god… which is not in this life…
If she’s guilty put her in jail. C’mon people im sick and tired of hearing the excuses what if she was molested as a child so maybe this is some kind of psychological reaction. please if this was a man, we would already would have pronounced him guilty

That woman will face a greater pain if she does not repent truly repent.She did this before.She is the lucky one she is alive to live another day. That little girl never had a chance at a real life or future, just a baby. That woman, as all of us will face God. My heart goes out to that little Girl and the other little girl. And her families. Christ will be the judge of that woman.
I gotta hand it to all the presumtive nuts invoking god and pronouncing Huckaby guilty with no trial. You freaks need to stay as far away from jury duty as possible. This is America, and in America, we have due process. You might want to try researching due process and how it’s integral to a fair society operating under the rule of law and not mob rule. Christ.
