Another senseless killing but this time in Stanton Heights Pittsburgh.
At least two Stanton Heights Pittsburgh police officers were fatally shot on Saturday and another was wounded when a bullet stuck his hand after they reached a house from which domestic disturbance call had been made to the emergency number.
The man who apparently shot the police officers has been taken alive in custody.
From other reports and media outlets on the ground I have heard that 5 officers in all were reportedly injured in the shooting spree.
Also, while the stand off was in progress, no medical emergency personnel could respond and take care of the officers.
There is a news conference sheculded in the afternoon by the Police Chief and perhaps more details will emerge then.
