This is funny so you have to hear it out. A seller posted a Tiger Wood’s apple core [munched apple with only the inner part remaining] on eBay and guess how much was the winning bid for?
$36,000!!!
According to the grape vine, Tiger Woods chucked a half-eaten apple on the 12th fairway at the U.S. Open and a fan scooped it up and put it on ebay.
Here is how the seller (or prankster) put up the description for what he/she was selling:
I was at the US Open this Friday, following Tiger Woods down the 12 th Fairway, after his tee shot, he was eating an apple, 30 yards from his ball he discarded his apple core in the rough, I asked a (photographer) to kick it over my way, and he did, I never touched the core, Scooped it up in a empty beer cup, as not to disrupt the DNA, Ive got lots of witness’…all moneys go to my daughters college fund.
Quite a sob story there but that didn’t stop somebody from actually putting up a bid there and that too for a sky high price of 36,000 dollars.
Apple a day does keep you healthy but Tiger Woods or not, I doubt if somebody would actually show up to pay this much for an apple!
