ok well whatever the real definition is for hob knocker it was not appropiate to be on nickloden.. now my 9 year brother and 13 year old sister are going around calling everyone a hob knocker..this was just wrong…i am 23 and when they told me what it was my jaw dropped down to the ground and then laughed…but then once i thought about it my younger sister and brother are going around saying it now.

I personally don’t think that iCarly would say it if that’s what it means. And that isn’t even illegal. (But it is rude.) iCarly is a harmless show for kids and I’m 99.9% positive that that is NOT the real meaning. Nickelodeon would NOT put that meaning on a children’ show. They just wouldn’t do it.

I watch i carly with my kids (8,7,&4) all the time and they laughed at the word hobknocker just like I did. I think its harmless and I think some people are over reacting. When I first herd the word I pictured a goblim like guy with a large nose so I’m gonna believe that is the def. Since that’s what I pictured any ways. I would rather have my kids say hobknocker more Than some of the other stuff I hear kids saying. Just think they can be cussing at leats hobknocker is a funny word.
