I live in New York and this past few days going out means feeling like your ears might get knocked off anytime. But imagine the plight of the inhabitants of Oymyakon, in Siberia Russia who are looking at facing the coldest temperature that has ever been recorded in human history. The weather experts are predicting that the place might face temperatures falling down further 20 degrees.
Coldest Place On Earth – Oymyakon Siberia (Russia)
Oymyakon already has the honors of being the most frigid place on planet Earth after it recorded temperatures of minus 76 degrees F.
The temperatures are expected to fall down further due to the influx of cold polar air coming from the Arctic. Imagine what life must be life living in that part of the country without basic amenities during the Soviet Union days that Americans regularly use without a second thought to make life much more easier.
I shiver at the mere thought.
