Obama Infomercial

Barack Obama will go on national television tonight and air a 30-minute infomercial about himself and his presidential campaign.

Several political image makers, both Republicans and Democrats, say it’s a smart move. But is there a risk of excess in it, as well?

While Obama hasn’t made many strategic mistakes in his campaign against Republican John McCain, he has, on occasion, shown a weakness for extravagance. Not to forget a few slip ups like calling the rural voters angry, clinging to guns etc.

In July, Obama’s visits to Afghanistan and Iraq generated comforting images of the senator with military leaders and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. But his trip ended in Berlin with an image of 200,000 fans, mostly Europeans, chanting Obama’s name.

Now today I saw the video and I liked it. It was definitely not an over kill and it made a nice resonance. All the while when watching the video, one side of my brain kept telling me its propaganda, but the other side of the brain really liked what it was processing.

Check it out here and enjoy it with volume turned on.

I didn’t watch it. I had to get my dose of Pushing Daisies which is the best series right now on tv.

      Fraud: deceitful, imposter, trickery.

Barack Hussein Obama’s egomercial contained several false impressions for the voters in America. Did anyone notice that Mrs. Sanchez’s tearful lament about not being able to afford milk and/or snacks for her family, highlighted her acrylic nails on her hands. The last time I had a set of acrylic nails, they cost about $35.00 for an entire set. How many snacks could Mrs. Sanchez afford for her family if she gave up the false fingernails and STOPPED lying for Obama?????
