I think the Supreme Court of the United States has yet to decide exactly what the second amendment implications are. There is a lot more to the amendment than just “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”.
If it was that simple, then it would only say that.

Everyone who is in this country is protected by our Constitution and all applicable laws. If you doubt that, then wait till they catch the cowards that killed this student.

It is really a double edged sword giving students
from foreign nationals a gun for US gov.
although it provides better security
it would further complicate matters in wake of terrorist attacks , but i seriously think extra security should be provided around campuses and such incidents should be probed thoroughly and let us make a serious effort so that justice is served

Thanks for the correction, Shetty.

Students need to be able to defend themselves in case of home invasion. Its possible for anyone to buy a gun from a store (say wal-mart) with a DL and keep it home for emergencies like these. Question is, should they do it.

Second amendment is only for citizens. Not for people on F1 visa.
