Tori Spelling’s husband, DeanÂ McDermott,Â is hospitalized in intensive care after sufferingÂ a punctured and collapsed lungÂ in a motorcycle crash.
McDermott crashed on Tuesday when he was riding a dirt bike with two pals, People magazine reported.
â€œHeâ€™s in a lot of pain,â€Â Spelling told People magazine, who was reportedlyÂ first to report the news. â€œHeâ€™s taking this as a sign and realizing family is too important to risk his life.â€
McDermott was expected to make a full recovery.
McDermott and Spelling star in the Oxygen reality show “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” with their children, Liam, 3,Â and Stella, 2.Â McDermott’s love of motorcycle riding has been a dispute with Spelling, with heated arguments on-cameraÂ on the reality show.Â Â Earlier this year, McDermott fractured his shoulder in a motorcycle accident.
McDermott has reportedly told his wife that he is done with riding and will get rid of his bikes.
Spelling is an actress, author, reality TV star, entrepreneur, but is best known for her role as Donna Martin on “Beverly Hills, 90210.”Â McDermott is also an actor, starring mostly in TV movies such as “Always and Forever” and “Santa Baby 2.”
