This is the place where you are going to be finding Monday Night Football Schedule as well as discussion and commentary.

Jets with their new Quarterback Brett Farve played Manning’s Giants, both of the teams from New York, and ended up showing him a thing or two.

Some of the passes were Brett Farve classics but the ref had an axe to grind it seems. Foul or no foul, the passes were beautiful.

Brett Favre New York Jets Jersey

Brett Favre New York Jets Jersey

Brett Favre, one of the best and most popular QBs of all times was given an emotional farewell when he took retirement after a career spanning one of best performance by Green Bay Packers. Brett became the face of Green Bay Packer and its family of hundreds of thousands of fans.

Problem started when after a bout of retirement, Brett felt that it was no longer possible for him to sit in an arm chair and spend his rest of the days. He wanted back in. Now even though the Green Packers management wished him best and wanted never to let go such an outstanding QB, their own obejctives and strategies fell out of alignment when Brett expressed his desire to come back.

What about the new QB that Green Bay replaced Brett when he left with. Would he voluntarily give up his position? Though nobody doubts Brett’s talent and his ability to give his best, but what about the long term plans.

It was heart wrenching to see such an icon give up football, but it was equally heart breaking to see the treatment meted out to this amazing player when he tried to reclaim his old position back. Nobody would like to confront such a situation where old blood gives way to new but then old blood comes back fighting for the way things used to be.

Now of course, Brett knows there is no future in sticking around for Packers. If I recall correctly, Green Bay offered millions to Brett just to sit out but it was the love of the game which brought Brett back. Not the thought to keep his seat warm.

Brett is looking to move on to a new team and New York Jets would be one of the ideal choices depending on the vision of the head coach.

Green Bay wants to hand over Brett but not without its pound of flesh, among other options, most likely a first round draft pick.

The situation is definitely an awkward one but if Brett thinks he still has some of the old juices left and he proves in the playing field, then that definitely would be a redeeming factor for this athlete.

Like an old saying goes, the battle of Waterloo was one in the playing fields of Eton, this is one battle which Brett Favre ought to win by showing his prowess in the football fields.
