Reality star Heidi Montag has spoken out via Twitter about the tragic death of her plastic surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan, who was killed in a crash along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) on Monday.

Montag “Tweeted” the following on Tuesday on her :

I am devastated to hear the news of Dr. Frank Ryan’s death. He was the most amazing person I have ever known. He was an angel and changed my life and the lives of everyone he met. He was the most brilliant talented surgeon who will ever exist. Dr. Frank Ryan changed the world. My thoughts and prayers go out to his mother, family, friends, and anyone who was ever blessed enough to meet him. He is in a better place.

Ryan, 50, of Beverly Hills, is infamous for performing 10 plastic surgery procedures on Montag, 23, in one day last year.  Some of his other celebrity patients included Janice Dickinson, Adrianne Curry, Shauna Sand, and Gene Simmons.

Rescuers found his dog, Jill, in the water, according to reports.  She was injured in the crash, but survived.

“Whoa!” Detroit radio DJ Shannon Murphy had a dream-filled day as she co-hosted “Live! With Regis and Kelly” and got a kiss — and that fore-mentioned catchphrase — from actor/former teen idol Joey Lawrence on Tuesday morning.

Murphy, of Detroit’s 95.5 FM Mojo In The Morning Show, won the opportunity to co-host with Regis Philbin after a nationwide contest: Women In Radio Co-Host For A Day Search. She was one of four female radio personalities who got the gig while regular co-host Kelly Ripa is off this week.  The other winners (Jayde Donovan of XL 106.7 FM in Orlando, Kristin Cruz of KOST 103.5 FM in Los Angeles, and Jenn Hobby of Q100 in Atlanta) will co-host Wednesday through Friday.

A very cheerful Murphy represented Detroit and Michigan in a positive light, and even presented Regis with a Detroit Tigers baseball jersey with “Regis” and “955” on the back (for her radio station 95.5 FM with Mojo In The Morning).  It was also perfect timing as the Detroit Tigers beat the New York Yankees the night before in a nail-biting game.

Guests on “Live! With Regis and Kelly” for Tuesday were actress Emma Thompson, “So You Think You Can Dance” winner Lauren Froderman, and of course heart throb Joey Lawrence. 

When it came time to interview Lawrence, Murphy mentioned she had a little crush on him growing up (which, as a fan of Joey Lawrence myself, I was glad she was there to represent fans watching from home).  She had a poster of the “Blossom” star in her bedroom, which she said she used to use to practice kissing.

And Murphy, who was warned by her Mojo In The Morning colleagues (Mojo, Spike) not to do so, brought up Lawrence’s infamous “Whoa!” catchphrase as Joey Russo on “Blossom.”  As a fan, I was happy she brought  it up because then Lawrence briefly explained how the catchphrase got started (originally supposed to be in “surfer” style).

They also talked about “Melissa and Joey,” Lawrence’s new sitcom with Melissa Joan Hart for ABC Family. The two previously starred together in the ABC Family movie “My Fake Fiance” (so obviously the network and producers saw the great on-screen chemistry that I saw with Lawrence and Hart have in the movie, and created a TV show.)

So back to the interview, Philbin asked Lawrence if he would give Murphy a real kiss (as opposed to the poster of him she used to kiss), in which they agreed to kiss on the cheek (Lawrence is a married father of two, and Murphy’s boyfriend was in the audience). But after the kiss, the real treat was Lawrence yelling out “Whoa!” which fans, and hopefully Murphy, were very grateful for (most stars do not want to recite their catchphrases over and over).

So Joey Lawrence, thanks for humoring your fans with your catchphrase!  And Shannon Murphy, thanks for letting us live vicariously through you! Co-hosting with Regis Philbin on national TV and a kiss and a “Whoa!” from Joey Lawrence … not bad for a day’s work!  “Whoa!”

The photos of the attack on reality show star Tila Tequila over the weekend at an Insane Clown Posse concert event, provided by Tequila to TMZ, showed a bleeding, abrazed, and bruised young woman.  Now a video of the attack has surfaced that reveals Tila Tequila getting pelted with flying objects, at first oblivious to the flying missiles, removing her blouse. It is clear to see in the short video how the attention-mongering, topless Tequila sustained some of her injuries, but the drama queen’s story still may be a bit exaggerated.

Tila Tequila had been invited to appear at the 11th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Illinois when things, according to a local police official, “got out of hand.”  A stabbing had just occurred and the crowd had become rowdier when the police arrived to arrest the perpetrator and get the victim to safety and to the hospital.  Police were still on hand when Tila Tequila was attacked.

She told TMZ that the Juggalos were “trying to kill” her.  She said she hadn’t made it to the stage (obviously not true, as the video reveals, but perhaps she was making the finer point that the object-throwing began before she made the stage) when the crowd of unruly fans began throwing large rocks, bottles, and even human waste at her.  She then ran to a nearby trailor which the mob quickly surrounded, breaking out the windows, continuing their attack.  She claims that “two thousand” Juggalos attacked the trailor.

As with many stories offered by Tila Tequila, the melodrama is thick and possibly inaccurate.  However, part of her story is true.  In the short video posted to YouTube, a topless Tila Tequila is being rained upon by numerous flying objects.

But what seems to have provoked the crowd into such an action?  Was it the mob mentality made restless when the unwanted police officers entered their midst?  Was it adrenalin overflow from both the police infiltration and the violence that had seen a man stabbed?  Was it a confluence of events — the horrorcore rap, the violent lyrics, the anticipation of hyped fans waiting to see Insane Clown Posse, the stabbing, the appearance of unwanted authority, the appearance of a despised poser (an example of which Tila Tequila would certainly qualify) — that set off the Gathering of the Juggalos? Or was it something Tila Tequila said?  Was going topless, then waving her blouse, like waving a cape at an angry bull?

No doubt there will be much more on this story by a non – topless Tila Tequila — and many more videos as well…

Reality show celebrity Tila Tequila made headlines (again) after being attacked at a concert event in Illinois that highlights horrorcore rap icons Insane Clown Posse.  At the 11th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos, Tila Tequila told TMZ that the fans were “trying to kill” her.  And unlike some of her more histrionic attempts to grab media attention, this time she has the Sheriff of Hardin County (where the Gathering of the Juggalos took place) to back her up (to some extent).

Tila Tequila, famous for her over-the-top drama and non-stop Twitter postings, told TMZ Saturday how she had not even made it to the stage (she had been invited to appear as part of “Ladies Night” with Lil Kim) when she was attacked with rocks, bottles, and even human feces from the nearby port-o-potties.  TMZ posted photos of Tequila taken in the aftermath of the attack that showed her with a cut face, abrasions to her side and stomach, and brusing on her legs.

Hardin County Sheriff Tom Seiner said “things got out of hand” at the annual event.  Police had responded to calls of a stabbing and when they arrived, the crowd began to yell obscenities at them as they attempted to make an arrest and get the injured individual to safety.  He told a local television station, WSIL TV, that concert security had to guard the police vehicles while law enforcement went into the campgrounds to get control of the situation.  The victim was taken to a nearby hospital (and was later listed in stable condition).  The perpetrator was a 49-year-old man from Georgia.  He was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a weapon.

Police were at the scene when the crowd turned on Tila Tequila.  According to her, she and her bodyguard and a couple of members of security quickly barricaded themselves in a trailor, which was immediately attacked by the incensed Juggalos. The men grabbed a table and chairs and covered broken windows, desperately trying to keep the mob away.

It is unknown how Tila Tequila and her escorts got away.  She told TMZ that she got stitches at an Illinois hospital before returning to Los Angeles and making a second trip to the doctor’s at Cedars-Sinai.

Seiner would not comment on the details of what occurred, noting that it was an ongoing investigation.

Sheriff Tom Seiner said the Gathering of the Juggalos is a “nightmare” and that the event gets rowdier and more violent each year.  He told TMZ he would rather it not return for a 12th season.

Despite the violence at this year’s event, members of the so-called “Juggalos,” followers of the horrorcore rap duo Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic Records artists (horrorcore genre) in general, claim that they are predominantly peaceful.  They maintain that, despite openly aggressive, gory, and violent lyrics, “the family” is about support and the music is about catharsis.

Be that as it may, the “peaceful” Juggalos are considered a gang in the states of Arizona and Utah and several other legal jurisdictions throughout the United States.  In the state of Wisconsin, their Justice Department lists Insane Clown Posse itself as a security threat.

Tila Tequila told TMZ Sunday that she was going to sue the promoters of the Gathering of the Juggalos.  It looks as if she might have a case.

By now, most everyone has heard the story of Steven Slater, the fed-up Jet Blue flight attendant that refused to take any more crap from passengers and made a unique exit from the airplane he flew into New York on.  His name became headline news and t-shirt fodder.  He became a Facebook sensation.  In short, he was granted his 15 minutes of fame.  And with it came videos, parodies, and songs.  One of the best of the latter is Jimmy Fallon’s “The Jet Blue Song: The Ballad of Steven Slater.”

Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” tells the Steven Slater story and uses it as an inspirational, a do-it-yourself, up-by-your-bootstraps ditty for the working stiff.  It’s about making yourself feel better and doing it with style.

Playing on the old doctoral adage of “Take two aspirin and call me in the morning,” Jimmy Fallon told his audience and the world to “Take two beers and jump.”

Sometimes you have to have a little faith that you will land on your own two feet when you do something precipitous, like going over a Jet Blue public address system, saying “To the passenger who called me a ‘m***** f*****,’ f*** you!?”, grabbing two beers, engaging the release mechanism of the emergency exit chute, and jumping for it.

Steven Slater did just that (“Take two beers and jump”) and has become a symbol of the frustrated American worker.  Although he was arrested and faces seven years in prison (he was charged with several criminal counts), he has gained notoriety and fame that could garner him millions in endorsements, interviews, guest appearances, and reality show casting.

Ultimately, and strangely enough, Steven Slater’s is a story of hope…

Former “American Idol” champion Fantasia Barrino’s overdose on Monday night was caused by a combination of aspirin and a sleep aid, according to her manager, Brian Dickens.

Dickens released a statement saying Fantasia ingested the medication after feeling “overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention” surrounding her relationship with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Antwaun Cook (who is married):

“Last night, Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon.”

Antwaun Cook’s wife, Paula Cook, filed for divorce last week, accusing the singer of committing adultery with Antwuan and occasionally taping their sexual activity, according to reports.  Fantasia said she believed he was separated.

Fantasia has an upcoming album and reality show. Her third album, “Back to Me,” is scheduled to be released on Aug. 24.  There has been no confirmation yet as to whether this will be postponed.

As for her reality show, “Fantasia For Real,” which is set to premiere with season two on Sept. 19, VH1 executives and the producers are currently trying to determine if production will be affected.  They issued a statement on Tuesday regarding the situation:

“We support Fantasia 100% and look forward to working with her again soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with her at this difficult time.”

The “Teen Choice Awards 2010″ may not air on Fox until Monday (tonight), but the surfboard awards were given out last night in Hollywood.  Find out who won below.

Alicia Keys wedding photos are hot, as the wedding photos from Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz ceremony display a Grecian-inspired celebration.  Set at a private estate in Corsica, the Alicia Keys wedding photos will give wedding planners a run for their money for years to come.

Alicia Keys wore an ivory silk Grecian goddess gown by Vera Wang, which was complimented by jewel crusted sandals and a beautiful hair piece.  The color complimented her creamy skin, and the dress was the perfect choice for the expectant mother.

The pictures of the wedding also show Alicia Keys’ groom, DJ Swizz Beatz, wearing a raspberry shirt under an ivory tuxedo jacket. The two looked splendid, and so did Swizz Beatz children.

This is a beautiful day, although it was overshadowed by the Chelsea Clinton wedding. Perhaps that’s why Alicia Keys chose this day – so that she would be able to focus on the love of her life and the father of her child.

Ellen DeGeneres has announced she is leaving “American Idol” after being on the judges panel for season nine.

Her statement about leaving the show was posted on “American Idol’s” official web site:

“A couple months ago, I let FOX and the American Idol producers know that this didn’t feel like the right fit for me,” said Ellen. “I told them I wouldn’t leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for. I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on Idol and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be.”
