Maclaren Stroller Recall: A Big Recall of Maclaren Strollers Due to Finger Amputation Risk

The Maclaren stroller recall is big. Maclaren is said to recall strollers. These Maclaren strollers have a risk of amputating the finger of the small child tucked inside. According to Product reviews, there have been dozens of reports of children’s fingers getting amputated by the hinge on the side of the Maclaren Stroller.

The Maclaren Stroller recall is a nightmare for parents.  Can you imagine purchasing a Maclaren stroller, only for it to pinch your child’s finger off? Can you imagine the guilt you would feel?  The Maclaren Stroller recall dates back to strollers manufactured in 1999 to the present day. Model numbers involved with the recall have yet to be released.

Parents are supposed to stop using their Maclaren strollers immediately.  The recall will be officially announced on November 10.  Rumors indicate that parents will receive a tool kit which will help them fix their defective stroller.

Personally, I would want my money back so that I could go and purchase a Graco stroller.  Ironically, the Maclaren official Web site claims that “Maclaren is a premier British parenting lifestyle company that produces the worlds most safe, durable innovative and stylish baby buggies and strollers.”
