Obama and Energy Tax Credits

President Obama recently announced that he would provide tax credits to American people who invest in clean energy technology and use it in their day to day lives.

Well he has delivered on that promise. I just heard from  my friends based in Rochester that they are already starting to benefit from President Obama’s stimulus package with regards to a healthy energy policy that would give a boost to new green technologies but also provide an incentive to people to shift to better and efficient means.

The immediate perks that these guys can see right away is the cut in their energy bills. The savings can be as big as 25 percent. So for many people who were sitting on the fence, once the details of the stimulus package were announced, they decided it was the right time to jump into the green movement.

So what exactly is the benefit here? What are the details of the economic stimulus package on the alternative renewable energy front that is making it irresistable to people.

Well, this is what the government is making available to the public with immediate effect – tax credits of up to 30 percent on the cost of energy-efficient doors and windows.

Using the above tax credits, people have cut down almost $1500 dollars on their energy bill. For a comprehensive article on how the Obama policy on energy will shape out, check out this article on Obama Renewable Energy Plan.
