An armed man walked into a restaurant in the Steiner Ranch area near Lake Travis Monday afternoon and opened fire for no apparent reason and killed a restaurant worker.
The shoot out occurred at the Steiner Ranch Steakhouse which is just south of RM 620 in the evening. The restaurant was about to commence its evening supper and night time service.
According to the local police department, the perp coolly walked into the restaurant and shot a worker at random. Then the perp ran away.

He was a busboy that was recently fired. The restaurant hasn’t even been open that long.
I live in this area less than 1/2 mile away and have eaten here. This is absolutely out of character. Dining experience was superior. Have friends that work here. Very concerned for my friends who live nearby and know that we have superior police force who have our utmost care as a priority.
So I live on 620. I got at home around 7 monday night, there were cops at the front of the apartments, and swat guys on the inside with AR-15’s! I guess they were looking for the guy…
