This cannot get more insane.
So much so that lot of internet rumor mills are saying on the web that rapper Lil Wayne was shot dead in a gang feud and that he was left on the streets to rot.
Who could be behind such rumors? Is somebody in the rival music faction deliberately trying to damage the reputation of these stars or is it some buzz creating tactic on the part of campaign publicists.

Dwayne Carter known by his rap alias of ‘Lil Wayne’ is the latest victim of the notorious feud between the ‘Bloods’ And ‘Crips’.
Shortly after performing at the New Orleans Arena, Lil Wayne was involved in an altercation with members of rival gang the ‘Crips’, and brutally shot 6 times with a semi automatic 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun
Paramedics rushed to the scene and attempted to resuscitate the rapper, however were unable to prevent colossal blood losses and Dwayne Carter was pronounced dead at 02:36 Am, November 1st,shortly after arriving at Tulane University Hospital.

Scottsdale, AZ. — Rapper Lil’ Wayne in critical condition following roadside shooting.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting occurred at approximately 11:30pm MST Saturday night as Dwayne Carter JR, best known as rapper Lil’ Wayne, was exiting a strip club with three women in central Scottsdale.
Authorities said an African-American male in a black 1993 Honda Civic fired three shots at the rapper, one of which struck his throat. No one else was injured in the shooting.
“Weezy was really quiet that afternoon. Almost like he knew something was up,” said Sofia Acuna, a friend of the rapper who witnessed the shooting. “It all just happened so fast. I think there were three, maybe four people in the car. I remember they shouted something at Weezy then started shooting. Before I could even process what was happening, he was just lying on the pavement.”
Witnesses report the black civic had a large dent on the right side of the hood and that the license plate read “fresh” and there were dice in the mirror.
Mr. Carter is listed in critical condition and is not expected to survive.
