The results of all streams of the Higher Secondary first year examination, 2008 conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will be declared on July 2 at 11 am in all the district headquarters of the State. No results will be declared in the office of the council.

Good news for the education department.
After HSC showed tremendous performance, the Maharashtra State Board’s success story is set to take the success story further as well. According to some news reports, SSC results too have witnessed a quantum jump of around 16%.
Last year the state passing percentage was 70.6%, but this year it is expected to jump to 86%. In 2006, the state’s pass percentage was 64.59% and 57.31% in 2005. Overall the students seem to be doing better in the board exams.
