According to emerging news reports a USA Jet Airlines cargo plane crashed while approaching the airport in Mexico.
A USA Jet Airlines Inc. cargo plane crashed early today on approach to Mexico’s Saltillo Airport, killing the captain and critically injuring the first officer, the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board said.
A team of NTSB investigators was sent to Saltillo to assist the Mexican government in its investigation of the accident, involving the company’s DC-9-15 freighter, the agency said in a statement.
The plane was carrying goods like auto parts etc. and not passengers otherwise the dead count would have been higher.

Deadly boat accident in Slovenia when two large canoes decided to run over a dam under construction near Sevnica, a town some 50 miles south of the capital city Ljubljana. The accident spot in the dam, which is part of a hydroelectric station, the height of the dam matches the water level.
The local officials organized a canoe trip, calling it “The final descent”, as a last trip down the dam after which the river was to be blocked for hydroelectric purposes. Passengers were all Slovenians.
Shocking news of a teenager in Georgia who had gone to Six Flags to enjoy the rides was stuck by a roller coaster and decapitated. The teen jumped the electrified fence to hop into a restricted area and was stuck by an oncoming roller coaster.
As to why the teen jumped the fence, no definite answers are available. Some say he was trying to retrieve something he lost, while others are saying he wanted to touch the roller coaster.
