Tiger Woods Update: Tiger Desires Privacy, but Does He Deserve it?

Tiger Woods asked for privacy during his press conference late last week.  What does that mean? Well, it means that he is tired of the endless “Tiger Woods updates” flocking on the internet.  Of course, this post is also technically an update, but I would like to see what people think about the golfer and his privacy.

Does Tiger deserve privacy? After all, he is an athlete and he does live somewhat in the public eye.  There are many children that look (or looked) up to him, and there are many issues with his sponsors that must be considered.  He is or was the face of many companies and that in and of itself kind of takes him out of protected status.
Still yet, there’s human decency.  What Tiger does in his bedroom (or in the back of a car, or in the corner of a crowded nightclub…) is his own business.  Or is it? Does it all flow in with his character? Should we turn a blind eye, or is this truly a big deal?

All that being said, I highly doubt Tiger will get his privacy any time soon.  However, many people are growing bored of the controversy – so maybe he will get it a lot sooner than he previously thought.

    1. Carmen says:

Tiger Woods has apologized to everyone and accepted that what he did was very wrong. Tiger confirmed he needs help and that he is receiving rehab to address his issues. Tiger said he wants to regain balance in his life to save the two things that are most important to him, his wife and his children. Tiger is trying to put his life back together and he has a right to do so. I wish them all the best. It is time that Tiger and his family move on with their life and for the media to get off their back!!!
