Don’t get me wrong. Sarah Palin has a huge following and she’s vastly successful. There’s no doubt that she’s going to put her footprint on the American political landscape, and there’s no doubt that she’s going places.
However – Sarah Palin hand notes point to something that many people are frightened of: that Sarah Palin is “lofty” at times.
You have to remember – this is the woman who stepped down as the Alaskan Governor for little or no explanation. This is the woman who talks about “Joe Six Packs” and that goes hunting.
Sarah Palin writing what she did on her hand isn’t much different than a school teacher writing “teach reading, writing, and arithmetic” The things that she wrote down should be so deeply engraved in her brain that she can’t forget them.
Then again, maybe Sarah Palin wrote the hand notes in order for people to see them. We all live busy lives and have a billion things to do in a given day. Things we should remember such as “pick up kids from school, check mail, go to work” sometimes get forgotten. Maybe her hand notes were just a way to show people that she’s just like you and me.

I guess you missed when Pres. Obama had his Q & A with the rebpublicans a few weeks ago? You know the one where he basically made them look stupid and he did it all for an hour and a half without a teleprompter. You should check it out on youtube. Also I guess you missed the many interviews Pres. Obama has given without a teleprompter. Or the many speeches Palin has given while using a teleprompter. Why are people so blissfully ignorant when you can find out anything on the internet? Also, what’s the big deal about using teleprompters anyway? ALL the politicians use them.
You mean like his conversation with the Republican congresspeople two weeks ago, where he schooled every one of them, and without a teleprompter?
So if she wrote them on a teleprompter screen it would be okay. But on her hand it’s “cheating?” Get used to it. She’ll be your President too.
For all the people defending Palin for writing the Core Republican Principles on her hand, I have this to say. What if when Pres. Obama did his Q & A with the republicans (which he did without a teleprompter) had written on his hand “Hope” and “Change”? You Hypocrites would be having a field day with that. Yep, those are some very difficult talking points to remember, especially when you aren’t coming up with them yourself, but rather trying to sound like you are against anything the current administration supports. This was a forum that should have been the easiest thing ever for Sarah Palin, as she was being paid to simply come and be a keynote speaker for a group of people that were already supporting her. Not only that, but the crowd was probably going to be supportive of anything that she had to say.
The one thing that stands out from Palin’s presentation, yes even more than the hand notes, is that she attacked President Obama for using a teleprompter. Well if you are going to attack someone else for using notes, it’s important to not seem hypocritical when making statements like that. Sometimes it’s necessary to read a speech when you don’t have time to memorize it, and that is what someone like the President often has to do. This isn’t new for Obama or any recent President, and isn’t something that needs to be attacked. As for writing notes on your hand that you need to talk about lowering taxes and promoting new energy sources? My friend’s five year old could do that.
What a shame this gets more coverage than the fact that Obama can’t pronounce the work CORPSMAN correctly. He’s a president, she isn’t. Yet.

This is another example of this hypocrisy of the right wing. They blast Obama for using a teleprompter (remember he spoke to the republican house members without a Teleprompter, so your argument doesn’t hold).
Yet Palin is so dumb she has to use her hands. There is a difference between a teleprompter and hand notes. If you notice the hand notices were very general ideas, you think someone as smart as Palin would be able to remember them. Yet she isn’t.
The day Palin is president is the day america is doomed. So if that is what you want them please elect her.

Ok. I’m convinced that Sarah Palin isn’t very smart, but I’m also quite sure that she knows the principles she wrote down. So why did she write them? Probably because she knew all the Q and A questions before the interview and she wrote down her talking pints for each question on her hand because she has a difficult time understanding what people are asking her most of the time. I cannot believe that people actually think this woman should be our president
