Connecticut Power Plant Explosion and Casualties Update

Connecticut power plant explosion and casualties update.  An explosion at a Power Plant in Middleton, Connecticut ruined many individual’s plans for Super Bowl Sunday, as mass casualties resulted from the explosion that is believed to have been caused by a gas leak.

There is construction currently in progress at the Kleen Energy plant, but it’s not certain whether or not the construction had anything to do with the recent explosion.

So far, two are dead and four are in critical condition. The situation is grim, but many say it could have been much worse.  There were only 50 people inside the building at the time of the explosion, although there could be as many as 100 people injured.

Approximately 20 ambulances were at the scene, and the explosion shook neighboring homes.  One homeowner even thought his home had been hit by a car!

Fortunately, situations like this do not occur that often.  When they do, they are bad.

      Prayers have been sent…

Think ‘ll just cancell going out for Superbowl.

      Just not into it now.

    2. Ct Pest Control says:

There were 5 dead in total. Thankfully only 5 considering the magnitude of the explosion. Many people do say that it could’ve been worse if the power plant is already operational when it exploded. I hope the authorities figure out the cause in order to prevent such things from happening in the future
