Oscar Nominations 2010 Are Available and As Expected

Oscar Nominations 2010 are available, and as expected.  The 2010 Oscar Nominations didn’t surprise many, with Avatar and Hurt Locker receiving 9 Oscar nominations each.  The 2010 awards show will take place on March 7th, and many are excited for the awards show.

More Oscar nominations included Sandra Bullock with her first ever nomination for her role in “The Blind Side.”  Of course, it was expected that she would be nominated for her role because many critics loved the story and she played the character so well.

Other Oscar Nominations included various possible awards for the movie “Precious.”  This, of course, came as no surprise to many, who remember the hype surrounding the movie upon its release.

This year, there were 10 nominations for best picture, and this created quite a buzz.  Of course, Avatar, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Precious, Up in the Air, and Up got in to the mix.

Popular names made it in to the Oscar Nominations 2010 list for actors such as Morgan Freeman, Jeff Bridges, and George Clooney.

The March 7th Oscar Awards show is one of the most highly anticipated events in Hollywood.  It will be a star-studded event.  Now that the Grammys have come and gone, it’s time for the Oscars to shine.

      Why wasn’t “Ponyo” nominated?????

And why was a mediocre film like “The princess and the frog” nominated in it’s place?
I think the they nominated Disney’s crappy movie just as a show of acknowledgement. But seriously, over “Ponyo”??
