The Dalit leader has her eyes set on the highest political position in the country, that of the Prime Minister’s position, after occupying the Chief Mister’s post in Uttar Pradesh for four terms. The self declared “Bharat ki Beti” has asked why she cannot be the PM when she can be CM of a state. She accuses leaders of upper castes of trying to block her path to the top post. Well here is another instance of trying to polarize the country for political gain.
Actually this is expected now that the elections are nearing. BJP and its allies are expecting to swing the voters towards them with the Ram Setu and Amarnath land issues. In Bengal the Trinomol Congress is trying to do the same with its Singur and Nandigram agitations. The Left will be watching and cozy up to those who will agree to be its puppet. It will be an interesting election and we eagerly await the outcome.
