Egypt vs Nigeria Africa Nations Cup 2010

Egypt vs Nigeria, Africa Nations Cup 2010 ended with a 3-1 Egyptian victory.  In the opening Group C match for The Africa Cup of Nations, Egypt was to face Nigeria.  Even though Nigeria had an early lead, their opposition came through.  Goals were made by team members Emad Moteab, Ahmed Hassan, and Mohamed Gedo. Nigeria’s sole goal was made by Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke.

Nigeria’s lead took place around the 12th minute of the game, and itw as Emad Moteab who equalized the match. Had he not done so, it’s not certain what the outcome of the game would have been.

Ahmed Hassan then helped his Egyptian team take the lead and Mohamed Gedo helped to seal the deal – and confidence.

 The 2010 Africa Cup of Nations got off to a rocky start when the Togo national football team was disqualified after a terrorist attack made the team miss their Group B Game against Ghana.

The Cup is being held in Angola, and will stretch from January 10 to the 31st.  It is the 27th annual edition of the match. A total of 49 games will be played.

Egyptian soccer fans are very pleased with the outcome of the match. Nigerian fans, however, are disappointed that their team didn’t beat the Egyptians.
