Rahul Dravid and Dhoni’s magnificent tons changed the entire scenario for India. Dravids 177 (not out) and Dhoni’s 110 before he was caught behind by Dhamika Prasad just 3 overs before the stumps were withdrawn, steered India through what appeared to be a disastrous beginning for India. Dhoni delivered 10 boundaries and 1 six of the 159 deliveries that he faced.
While “the wall†stood tall, reaching the 11,000 mark in test matches by hitting 26 boundaries and a straight six after batting nearly for the whole day and remaining not out.
