Good health is the easiest road to happiness. But we tend to destroy this happiness when we overlook our food habits which contribute generously to being healthy.
Just a few changes in our food habits and we will see the difference!
Let’s start from the time our day begins:
First thing in the morning, a glass of warm water with lemon juice and a dash of honey, to retain the water level of the body and help digestion.
After a gap of some six to seven hours, your system needs to speed up its metabolism. So the first thing you need to do is have something substantial within an hour or two after you are out of bed.
Fiber is a very essential part of our diet which keeps our digestion smooth and bowels clean. Eat your bread with its crust on and please avoid peeling the fruits which can be eaten with their skin on.
Fruits with larger water content are advisable as they are refreshing and filling. Watermelons, cantaloupes, pineapples are nourishing as well as low in calories.
Never, ever overeat, it makes you feel lethargic and slows down your digestion, which in turn makes you drowsy, hampering the quality of your work.
Brown bread is a better substitute to white bread. Insist on that!
If you are dieting to reduce, never starve yourself, it only leads to further retention of fat to preserve the energy of the body.
There is no substitute for water; Drink at least 10 to 12 glasses of water daily. Believe me with all the toxins flushed out it will give a glow and a radiance to your skin.
These tips might sound insignificant and trifle. But trifles make perfection and perfection is no trifle!
