A Ford Mustang fan is extremely angry with the Ford motor company for misrepresenting how many vehicles they would produce of a limited edition Mustang Model, in this case a 2007 Roush Stage 3 Blackjack.
So much so that he has filed a law suit in downtown New York aka Manhattan alleging that the Michigan auto maker and Roush advertised that only 100 of such cars would be produced when they were put on sale in 2007. But come 2008, and they produced another set of 100 cars for sale in that year.
The vehicles were modified and sold at more than double the suggested price. So how much did the Mustang enthusiast pay for the car? About $59K.
Interestingly, the car that he brought bore the license plate denoting No. 2 of 100.
I am with the complainant here but my bet would be Ford and Roush had all this covered in the fine print with a small asterik denoting Conditions Applied. Either way, if I am the judge I would probably go in favor of the buyer here.
