The horse Silver Tree made it just by a neck in the Grade 3 150K Oceanport Stakes. This is one of the seven supporting stakes on the Haskell invitational undercard at Monmouth Park.
This was one of the three wins for jockey Kent Desormeaux. The jokey called Silver Tree as his favortite horse and was all praises for it. Everybody loves a winner.
As for the horse, this was Silver Tree’s 14th career impressive win in a literally neck to neck race. I could catch only few moments of the race but it was gripping.
The hore that came second had an interesting name – Giant Wrecker, but the third was even more creative – Hotstufanthensome.
