Gabriela Pochinki charged with misdemeanor

Gabriela Pochinki, 41 has been charged with a misdemeanor after an argument on Sunday at a New York restaurant. Pochinki is an Argentina national, and an Opera star who graduated from the Manhattan School of Music. 

On Sunday afternoon at Nice Martin a restaurant inside the Lucerne hotel, the police were called after a verbal fight between Pochinki and the restaurant manager. 

Gabriela and her daughter were staying at the Lucerne, and while at the resturant when other customers complained that she had her cell phone speaker on and carried on a conversation at the table, and then the manager was called. She waved the manager away and ignored her.  The manager then asked Gabriela to leave the restaurant (several times), and again she was ignored.  When she finally did get up, Gabriela pushed the manager.  The police were called, and Gabriela was charged with a misdemeanor. 

Gabriela’s business manager William Kitainik told The New York Post that he is shocked and described her as “the world’s most peaceful person.”
