Kate Gosselin will ask for Jon to pay child and spousal support on Tuesday in a Pennsylvania court. Kate Gosselin has stated that Jon took $230,000 from a joint escrow account they used to pay for taxes and other items, and now she says is unable to pay family bills. Jon Gosselin denies that he took the money from the joint account, but has asked Kate to account for the more than $100,000 she withdrew.
Jon Gosselin’s lawyers filed a countersuit last Tuesday in the same court. Jon’s attorney Heller is not licensed in Pennsylvania and may not be able to represent him. Earlier this year, Jon joked that he would never be able to get divorced because he wouldn’t be able to afford the child support for eight children.
If the reality TV couple could resolve their differences privately, they could avoid the court hearing. But then, that wouldn’t keep them in the media’s spot light would it?
