Baby pigs are cute, but then they grow up and they are unmanageable.  But when they stay small forever, like teacup miniature pigs do many people want them. Jane Croft, a British breeder has created a breed of pet pig that is more household friendly with her “teacup pigs” and when born, they are literally the size of a teacup. And they only grow to be 12-16 inches long and about 65 lbs- not much bigger than many domestic dogs.  They can be walked and taught tricks.

Teacup miniature pigs are very popular in the United Kingdom right now and people are adopting them as pets.  To adopt one, you must have a license and they cannot be left along, and they are normally sold in two’s.  The cost for one is $1,100 and they are available in the United States.
