The Cleveland Browns traded wide receiver Braylon Edwards to the New York Jets.
The Jets traded wide receiver Chansi Stuckey, linebacker Jason Trusnik and two undisclosed draft choices to the Browns for Edwards, a former first-round draft pick.
The trade occurs as Edwards is being investigated by the NFL for possible disciplinary action under the leagues personal conduct policy. Edwards is accused of assaulting a man outside a Cleveland nightclub early Monday morning. The man happens to be a friend of Cleveland Cavaliers basketball standout LeBron James, and he said that Edwards started the argument because of his jealousy over James’s success and called his actions childish.
