Kanye West, Lady Gaga ‘Fame Kills’ Tour Cancelled

An upcoming tour featuring Kanye West and Lady Gaga has been cancelled, according to Live Nation.

The “Fame Kills” tour was scheduled to begin on November 10, 2009, in Phoenix, and was set to run through January. Reports as to why the tour was cancelled range from poor ticket sales to creative differences with the artists.

West’s recent incident at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2009, may have also been a factor. He went onstage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, stating that Beyonce had the best video of the year. West received a lot of backlash for interrupting Swift, and may have lost some fans in the process.

Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically, according to West’s web site.
