Reports just pouring in. Popular female DJ K-Swift was found dead this morning in a swimming pool accident in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland.
K-Swift, was just 28 years old at the time of her death. She was born as Khia Edgerton and started DJ’ing at the age of 11, due to the influence of other pioneering DJ’s like Cocoa Channel and Jazzy Joyc.

When will people in general learn some tact ? A life was lost and comments suggesting she used drugs or couldn’t swim are irrelevant. She did not do drugs and she could swim. It’s what’s known as an accident. Let’s focus on what’s really going on and stop trying to stir up trouble. Here in B-more we loved the ClubQueen. She will be missed by all.

DJ K Swift was an inspiration to many women here in Baltimore and many places. She was one of few female DJ’s out here. She will truely be missed. We should not take life for granted. RIP DJ K.SWIFT

Well said Foxxy. I was appalled by some of the less than tactful comments by some people. Please people don’t speak on something that you have know facts about and stop perpetuating stereotypes about black people. I am black and I happen to love to swim and I am able to swim, but things can happen to anyone even an Olympic swimmer, not that this has anything to do with a precious life lost. We need to pray and show respect for this young lady and her family.

Knowlegde for those that lacks the ability of having the gift of thinking even those that are trained to swimmers if they do not dive correctly into a pool can cause serious injury even death as we see and that is with or without being under any influence of any substance So for all of the so called judges out there why don’t you try it yourself and see what the outcome of innocent horse playing can do because that all this young was doing enjoying herself and sadly lost her life and that’s all that MATTER that is all we need to it’s not the latest gossip

I am still crying. I know that everyone has their time 2 go,but i really cant believe this terrible lost! Swift did what she was suppose 2 do while she was here and GOD called her home. She had such a positive impact on our youth and I really think people will wake up and make a change bc that’s what Swift did. Luv u babygirl! She was 27. Her bday isn’t until Oct.19th not 28.

just can’t stop thinking of her, I never knew her personnel but wished I could have mat her in person. I do remember hearing her voice on the radio while driving in my car on the weekends,she was proforming live at club choices and I would jam with her in my car. something dosent sound right if she was a life-guard that means shes a great swimmer and she jumps in if she jumped in the pool she should be fine because thats what life-guards do in order to help other people anyway i think its more to the story then what everyone else says there is.
