Bobby Murcer, the former Yankee star is dead. He died Saturday at home in Oklahoma City following a 19-month battle with brain cancer.
Murcer was a fan favorite in New York.
Yankee Stadium, as you all must be knowing is playing host to the finals soon in the coming days.
Another Yankee great Babe Ruth is buried in a cemetry in Westchester County, which is not far from where I am based.
I’m lucky enough to have watched Murcer make his return to the Yankees and then follow him thorugh boradcasting. He will be missed.
