I love Jeff Francoeur and have followed his career with the Braves since he started in the big leagues. I was absolutely crushed when he was traded by the Braves to the Mets but, apparently, that's just what he needed. His hitting has improved to the point he, at times, batted 4th. I feel as though Jeff's downfall at the Braves was Terry Pendleton (who by the way, only had lifetime batting average of 270; nothing to write home about). Note the other players on the Braves team who are struggling with batting (Kelly Johnson, etc.) Even Chipper and Brian McCann fell short of expectations at the end of the season. Note: Jeff Francoeur's BA was higher than theirs. Does that tell you something!!!!!!

I like Francoeur. He is a solid reliable player, but a humble guy. I don't like the fact that he was traded, but MLB, just like the NFL and the NBA is a business, unfortunately! So I will root for the Mets now. Good luck Jeff!
