37 Iowans were injured when July fourth fireworks shell misfired and instead of hurtling vertically into the sky, went horizontally down the street and into a group of spectators.
Fortunately, the injured were mostly suffered and were treated for minor burn injuries.
According to the sources, it appears there was a misfire involving 13 racks of firework tubes during the finale of the city-sponsored show. As to why the fireworks mulfunctioned, nobody knows it yet. Check out MSN’s coverage of it from here.
