Terrence Kiel, the former Chargers safety got fatally injured in a car accident and died soon after.
According to the reports, 27 year old Kiel was driving alone in a Chevy Sedan when he crashed into a wall and got flipped out of the car.
Kiel was barely breathing when paramedics got to him and he died about an hour later.
Kiel played ball for four years in the NFL.
In February 2007 he was caught shipping prescription cough syrup to Texas and this proved to be a career ending move for him.
Young, rich, sports star, but it all had to come crashing down for this guy.
It would be good if these guys had a real life mentor, some family member or close friend, whom these guys could turn to in times of desperation. Somebody who could be their friend, philosopher or guide.
Too many sports stars and celebrities, after achieving fame and money at a very young age go beserk and soon lose it all. Sometimes their dear life too.
