This is how Camp Denali looks at sunset.
A cell phone call in this case helped find the missing hikers after they lost their way in the Denali National Park and went missing.
A 23-year-old Erica Nelson had vanished along with her roommate, 25-year-old Abby Flantz. Park officials had reported the women were not carrying a cell phone but apparently the missing hikers did in fact have one, albeit with very low bars, using which they made a call.
The rescuers were able to zero in on the location and sent the helicopters to pick them up.
The hikers were lucky as well as the area is known to be popular with Grizzlies as well but park officials said an attack was remote possibilty.
Now that the girls are safe, they can potentially land an ad spot with the cell phone company saying it helped them get back to civilization and their family.
