i took the regents today and it was by far one of the hardest tests that i have ever taken in my life j to let u know i maintained a 96 average throughout the entire year and there was still stuff in it that i had never heard of before, study as hard as you can and research as much as possible before taking the test it is hell!!!

i thought this regents was easier then the ones b4 n i’v taken about 7 practice test. if any1 has the answers please post them here. thanx

i thought the test was pretty easy. there was only one question i found hard (the standing waves question with the power drill); everything else was very easy in my opinion, but i did have a 99 average for the year, so that probably contributes to it haha

so so exam. 3 meters for the wavelength on the drill question. My students did very well on it.

    46% above 85% 30% in the 90’s one paper of 100%

Sooo hard!!!! i didnt get half of the test. it was by far the hardest thing i ever took

I thought the test was ridiculously easy. I am in AP physics but I only had an average in the 80s. 95% of the test is just plugging numbers into formulas you find on the reference table, and making sure you write units down.
The other 5% are either things you have to memorize during the year or things that can be figured out with a bit of common sense and for most tests there are things you have to memorize (like the fact that an ammeter is hooked up in series.) Not a hard test at all and much much easier than the AP exam, which was the hardest test of my life.

I also took the regents today and found it to be easy. There were a couple questions I wasn’t sure about like what color a wave is if it had a wavelength of 5e7, but still I’m very confident.

  8. Hi,
The exam is a pretty basic one, and many past exams are posted through this website; http://www.regentsprep.org. Generally, if the teacher does a poor job of teaching during the year (i.e. BSing all the time, showing movies, no practice exams, etc.) then students will have a very difficult time with the subject. Otherwise, it is a very basic exam, and it is designed for the average student to pass, and for the good student to do well. No tricks at all, and it is *much* easier than AP Physics.

i thought it was reaaaaaaaly easy.

    both colors were green.

    suck it.

Took it yesterday, I was done in an hour and a half and there were only like 5 or so questions that couldn’t have been figured out with the reference table. Everything else could’ve be answered just by looking at the reference table though. Really not as hard as everyone says it is.

  11. megan says:

    wow… HARD AS HELL !!!!! but i pulled a 72 :)

  12. annie says:

    i got a 89…the m/c was easy…i screwed up on the question abt point a and b.
